KAIJU Arowana ( Singapore ) Pte Ltd is founded by Mr. Admond Tan in 2006. Prior to establishment of this company, Mr. Tan was running the business of premium grade Asian Arowanas under the ownership of the renowned Imperial Palace .
Mr. Tan has almost 7 full years of experience in the ornamental aquatic/accessories trade before venturing into the Arowana business on his own. As a passionate fish/animal enthusiast since young, Mr. Tan embarked into this business not solely for the business returns but also for the passion of the trade. Asian Arowana and rare exotic fishes (monster fishes) are Mr. Tan’s most ultimate passion and in this, he made careful selection of all the fishes for his customers. KAIJU Arowana imports hand picked Arowanas from Indonesia and Malaysia and re-exporting them to various region of the world like Hong Kong , Philippine, Canada , India , Myanmar , United Kingdom , Middle East etc. Mr. Tan made travels to the sources to pick the Arowanas so as to retain the best quality to be imported for the market.
The name ‘KAIJU’ is a Japanese word meaning ‘Monster’. The company specializes not only in the exportation of Arowanas but also Monster fishes (exotics). Mr. Tan has established himself over the years to be a Monster fish lover amongst fish hobbyist and the passion lives on in this business. In the company’s own business view, KAIJU also means: K (Keen in Quality) A (Authenticity) I (Intuitive to Demand) J (Justifiable Price/Service) U (United with Customers/Suppliers).
KAIJU Arowana mainly specializes in premium Red Arowanas. Other Arowana products included would be also the Golden Crossbacks, Red Tail Goldens, Banjar Reds and Green Arowanas. In some circumstances, rare King, Platinum, Albino Arowanas are also sourced for the trade. As long as the customer demands, the sourcing would be done. There is total flexibility in the business to cater for personalized demands.
